ST BARTH SUMMER CAMP YOGA CHALLENGE 2026

Categories : St. Barth, Our hotel, published on : 6/4/26

From July 9 to August 9, 2026, Hotel Manapany & Spa is delighted to host the St. Barth Summer Camp Yoga Challenge, led by Diana Bourel, founder of The Art of Self Care®. Now in its 18th edition, this much-loved island rendezvous has become far more than a yoga retreat in St. Barth. It is a month-long invitation to cultivate presence, strength, rest and composure.

Open to hotel guests, island residents and visitors to Saint-Barth, Summer Camp is designed as an à la carte wellness retreat. Participants may join for a single class, a day, a week, two weeks or the full month. All levels are welcome, from curious beginners to experienced practitioners.

A YOGA RETREAT
in Saint Barth

A MONTH OF YOGA AND WELLNESS IN SAINT-BARTH

The 2026 theme, Composure: Train for Intensity. Live for Everything Else, speaks to the heart of this year’s programme.

In a world that often asks us to move quickly, decide under pressure and adapt constantly, Summer Camp offers practical tools for living with greater clarity. Through yoga, meditation, breathwork, nervous system regulation and reflective workshops, participants learn to meet both the beautiful and the difficult moments of life with steadiness.

The practice is not only about flexibility or physical strength. It is about learning how to rest deeply. How to breathe through intensity. How to think clearly when life becomes complex. How to enjoy the smallest moments — a morning coffee, the breeze from the sea, a conversation with someone you love — without rushing past them.

At Manapany, surrounded by the natural elegance of Anse des Cayes, this philosophy finds its perfect setting. For guests seeking a luxury wellness experience in Saint-Barth, the hotel offers a peaceful island refuge where nature, movement and self-care come together.

DAILY YOGA
and wellness practices

Throughout the month, the Summer Camp programme offers a rich daily rhythm of yoga classes, breathwork, meditation and wellness practices.

Each morning begins with Hatha Yoga and Mastering Mindfulness, held from 7:00 to 9:00 AM on the Manapany Spa Deck, or in the Conference Room in case of rain. Combining breath, movement and meditation, this practice sets the tone for the day with intention and calm.

Late morning sessions include Wake Up Yoga, an energising class focused on balance, flexibility, strength and movement mechanics, as well as Aqua Yoga at Nikki Beach in St. Jean — a gentle yet effective practice in ocean water, ideal for families, groups, recovery work or anyone seeking low-impact conditioning.

Afternoon practices offer deeper exploration through Yoga Therapy, a slow and precise class using props such as chairs, straps and blocks, and Foundations, a class dedicated to understanding the anatomy, purpose and principles of yoga practice.

In the evenings, participants are invited to unwind with Yoga Zen, a restorative practice designed to support the parasympathetic nervous system and encourage better sleep, or to join community experiences such as the Talking Stick circle, Meditation Circle, and selected sound-based healing practices.

For those wishing to extend the experience beyond the mat, Manapany’s Spa & Wellness universe offers a serene setting dedicated to relaxation, balance and renewal in St. Barts.

WEEKEND WORKSHOPS
with international teachers and practicioners

YOGA UNIVERSITY: WEEKEND WORKSHOPS TO BUILD KNOWLEDGE

One of the highlights of the Summer Camp Yoga Challenge is Yoga University, held on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30 to 5:30 PM at Hotel Manapany.

These weekend workshops bring together a diverse group of experts, healers, artists and teachers, each offering a unique perspective on the body, mind and the art of self-regulation.

The 2026 programme includes:

Romain Vallet, osteopath, who opens Yoga University with a workshop on fascia, resonance and harmony within the body-mind system.

Sundar Balasubramanian, PhD, a researcher and educator whose work bridges yogic breathing, chanting and clinical medicine, with workshops dedicated to pranayama, breath science and VybYoga.

Faye Shepherd and Bruce Byron of Outreach Paramedics, who bring emergency medicine frameworks into everyday life, including CPR training and clear thinking under pressure.

Greg Bosc, who leads a workshop on emotions as a doorway to self-understanding and inner growth.

Olivier Dorne, osteopath, who introduces cranio-sacral osteopathy through awareness, grounding and presence.

Together, these workshops expand the meaning of yoga beyond the mat, offering concrete tools for resilience, clarity and embodied self-care.

PRIVATE AND CUSTOMISED
sessions

During Summer Camp, private sessions are also available by reservation with Diana Bourel, either directly or through the hotel concierge.

These include personalised yoga sessions adapted to all levels, as well as deeper healing work through Coming Home: Transpersonal & Shamanic Healing, designed for transformation, stress release, unresolved trauma and profound relaxation.

For guests staying at Hotel Manapany’s rooms, suites and villas, these private sessions offer a rare opportunity to tailor the Summer Camp experience to individual needs, intentions and rhythms.

A WELLNESS EXPERIENCE
in the heart of Saint Barth

As an eco-conscious luxury hotel rooted in the natural landscape of Saint-Barthélemy, Hotel Manapany offers an ideal home for this month of practice.

Here, wellness is not separated from place. It is in the sound of the sea, the warmth of the air, the simplicity of barefoot mornings, the quiet elegance of the Spa Deck and the feeling of being held by the island itself.

Hosting the St. Barth Summer Camp Yoga Challenge is a natural extension of Manapany’s spirit: generous, grounded, refined and deeply connected to nature. Guests can also discover the hotel’s environmental commitments, which reflect its dedication to a more mindful and responsible way of experiencing Saint-Barth.

After a morning yoga class or an afternoon workshop, guests may continue the Manapany experience through the hotel’s restaurant and bar, where the island’s relaxed elegance is celebrated by the sea.
